After the swim, took off on a ride. Up and over Juanita Hill, over Brickyard, out to Marymoor and back to Bothell. Good ride, just a ton of people on the trail today, most of them not knowing when it is appropriate to pass on the trail when heading into oncoming cyclists.. idiots.

Outside of dodging the folks fishing this morning it was a good swim at Martha Lake. Denver came down with Bean as well and served as my life guard
There were 4 other gentlemen there too; I bet there we easily in their 60’s. Intead of going for breakfast they get together and swim [...]

Quick Friday morning ride with Peter.. not too many folks on the trail at 6am. The only thing we had to worry about was avoiding the geese and their goslings! Gorgeous morning in Seattle today - supposed to be 80? Holy cow.. And of course after the ride was a trip to Cafe Ladro

Not sure what the deal is these days but I feel extremely tired and dehydrated. I drank a ton of water today, and yet when I started my run tonight it felt like I just smoked a pack of smokes…

After a long day of work, thought it was time to hit the lake (sorry Doug). The swim was nice, but some little twerp stole my towel which was sitting on the table. That’s one bad thing about Martha Lake these days… you almost need someone to stay on shore and watch things. Sucks.

Run off of the bike felt pretty good.. not a long distance whatsoever (limited time for both the bike and the run) but the pace felt good. And no cramping in the calves - very good

Needed to get out today to get the legs moving again after yesterday’s ride. Ran during lunch time - perfect time to be on the Burke Gilman Trail. Very few people around.

Otherwise known as the unofficial “butt crack of dawn” ride, today was a “metric” century ride. Met Ross, Lucy and Rich at 6:45am for a great day of cycling. It doesn’t get much better than today. I was supposed to do the 100 miles with Ross but I knew early on that was not in [...]

Plan called for a one hour swim and one hour run. Since I could not get going on swimming I thought I better get the run in… I decided today was not about speed, but instead just a good steady run with Bean. Need to save the legs for the century ride tomorrow!
