Ok - not sure why I continue to do this but every other month I have my wife wax my chest. Holy mother of pain does it hurt… but it is a good pain, right? For me the pain is not like the actor in 40 Year Old Virgin, but nonetheless I have the occasional yelp. Anyone else out there that puts themselves through this self torture?

Can’t say I do, but I have considered it.
Instead, I just run the clippers over everything and keep it short at ~1/4″, long enough to not get stiff. After this six-month stint in Iraq, I had a full rug going. I think the lights dimmed while I was mowing it down.
Early on in my “tri-career” I Naired my chest and stomach. Bad call. You’re better off waxing.

I’m pretty sure if I asked my husband, he would say a triple marathon is slightly less crazy than chest waxing!
