Banks-Vernonia Trail

I heard about this rail-to-trails route the other day and had to try it out. It’s just and out and back, and quite beautiful. One thing to note though, as you really never get out of the tree line - I started in Banks and just went out ~12.5 miles and turned around. If you want a very quiet and peaceful ride, this is it! Only saw a handful of other riders, but lots of bunnies and chipmunks!
